HPE StoreOnce 2900 Backup system
The HPE StoreOnce 2900 Backup system has 6 x 4 TB disks. It does not support connection of
an expansion shelf, but a further six 4 TB disks may be added to the server (Capacity Upgrade
Kit).

Six 4 TB disks are installed in slots 1 to 61. Hot plug drives
Off: no network connection or network not configured2. NIC status LED
Steady green: network connected
Flashing green: network activity
Steady green: Hardware is performing correctly3. System Health LED
Flashing amber: degraded condition
Flashing red: critical condition, such as power supply or fan failure
Steady green: Power connected, device ready to use4. Power On button/LED
Flashing green: performing power on sequence
Steady amber: Device switched off or in hibernation with power connected
Steady blue: identifies the unit
Off: No power connected
Steady blue identifies the StoreOnce Backup system in the rack.5. UID button
Flashing blue: remote management or firmware upgrade in progress
Slots 7 to 12 are available for the 6 x 4TB capacity expansion kit.6. Blanks
