Array Components
Each array has the following components:
• A chassis
• Two storage controllers
• One power supply for each controller
• One NIC on each controller
• 21 slots for HDDs (22 slots in the HPE Alletra 5010H and Nimble Storage HF20H models)
• Three slots for cache SSDs (two slots in the HPE Alletra 5010H and Nimble Storage HF20H models)
• Two HD SAS expansion ports
• Support for dual/quad 1G, 10G BaseT, SFP+

Array Front Panel
The front bezel snaps on and off, exposing or hiding the drives within the array chassis. During normal operations, the bezel
should remain in place.

Array Rear Panel
The rear of the array includes two controllers and two power supplies. Management, data, and power cabling is done at the
rear of the array. The basic components are the same regardless of the model.

In this example, Ethernet ports are installed in Slots 1, 2, and 3.
