a. Disconnect each power cord from the power source.
b. Disconnect each power cord from the server.
3. Do one of the following:
• Extend the server from the rack.
• Remove the server from the rack.
4. Remove the access panel.
5. Release the full-length expansion board retainer.
6. Remove the PCIe riser cage:
• Primary or secondary PCIe riser cage (
Removing and replacing the primary or secondary PCIe riser cages)
• Tertiary PCIe riser cage (Removing and replacing the tertiary PCIe riser cage)
7. Remove any expansion boards from the PCIe riser cage.
8.
Remove the PCIe riser board:
• Primary/secondary riser cage
• Tertiary riser cage
