HPE ProLiant DL385 Gen10 - Removing and Replacing the 8 SFF Drive Backplane

To replace the component, reverse the removal procedure.
Removing and replacing the 8SFF drive backplane
Procedure
1.
Power down the server.
2.
Remove all power:
a.
Disconnect each power cord from the power source.
b.
Disconnect each power cord from the server.
3.
Do one of the following:
•
Extend the server from the rack.
• Remove the server from the rack.
4.
Remove the access panel.
5.
Remove the fan cage (Removing and replacing the fan cage).
6. Remove all drives (
Removing and replacing drives).
7. Remove the 8SFF drive cage (Removing and replacing the 8SFF drive cage).
8. Remove the drive backplane.
