Screen elements Description
Filter options
Enable Displays those records for which alarm generation is enabled.
For more information on filtering metrics and alarms, see Filter
records based on metrics and alarm status.
Disable Displays those records for which alarm generation is disabled.
Arrays The list displays only those XP and XP7 disk arrays for which
alarms are configured. Select the XP or XP7 disk array to view
the corresponding alarm records in the Alarms table.
Metric Category Displays only those categories that are associated with the
selected components. By default, all categories are displayed in
Configure Alarms pane. Select a metric category from the drop-
down list for which you want to view the corresponding alarm
records.
Metric Displays only those metrics that are associated with the selected
components. Select the metric to view the corresponding alarm
records in the Alarms table.

Enabled Lists option to enable or disable alarms on components.
Array Displays the selected XP or XP7 disk array name.
Resource Displays the selected component.
Threshold Displays option to enter the threshold value for each component
record. Displays the value 999999 by default.
Settings pane
No. of Occurrences Specify the number of times the schedule must be executed.
Email Destination
Provide a valid email destination. By default destination email
address for receiving the alarm notifications is
administrator@localhost.
SNMP Destination
To receive a SNMP notification, enter the IP address of the
SNMP server that should receive and process the notifications,
in the text box under SNMP Destination.
Script Destination Provides the script location.
Script File Provide the script file.
