Screen elements Description
Ext-LUN Displays the following options to indicate whether or not the
selected LDEV is an Ext-LUN (Ext-LDEV):
• - (hyphen) = Normal LUN
• E = Ext-Lun
• P = Ext-Lun provider (the selected LDEV is used as an Ext-
LUN for another XP or XP7 disk array).
Host Group Displays the host group name for the host. The host group
name is a user-defined group on an XP or an XP7 disk array.
ACP Pairs Displays the selected ACP pairs.
RG Displays the selected RAID Groups.
Jnl Displays the identification numbers of the continuous access
journal groups.
Modify custom groups
Procedure
1. From the HPE XP7 Performance Advisor main menu, click Summary View > Custom Group
2. From the Custom Group filter, select the desired custom group.
3. Click Actions > Edit Custom Group.
4. To add more LDEVs to a custom group:
a. In the LDEVs table, select the LDEVs that you want to add to the custom group.
Alternatively, use the Custom Groups filter to locate the LDEVs that you want to add to a custom
group.
For more information on using filters, see Create Custom Groups .
b. Select the required LDEVs from the table, and click Add.
Refresh the page to view the LDEVs that are added to the custom group.
Delete LDEVs/Custom Groups
Procedure
1. From the HPE XP7 Performance Advisor main menu, click Summary View > Custom Group.
2. From the Custom Group filter, select the desired custom group.
3. To delete LDEVs from the custom group, click Actions > View Custom Group.
4. From the table, select the LDEVs that you want to delete, and click Delete.
