Business Copy HPE XP7 Business Copy uses local mirroring technology to
create and maintain a full copy of a data volume within the XP7
array.
PA monitors the BC system on an ongoing basis to keep track of
pairs and volumes and their current and past conditions. For

Configurations Collections Enables you to manage performance and configuration
collections for all the arrays managed by PA. For more
information, see About Collections on page 89.
PA Settings Displays options or settings to manage email, register SVP
credentials, configure PA database, and manage user settings.

Threshold
Settings
Provides options to configure and edit threshold values for
metrics. Its also allows you to configure, enable or disable
alarms. For more information, see About Threshold settings
on page 124.
Alerts Enabled you to activate alarms on components. For more
information, see About Alerts.
License Provides information on all the license keys installed on PA. This
screen also allows you to manage PA licenses. For more
information, see PA Licenses on page 42.
Reports Reports Provides visual representation of the performance trend of
components for a particular threshold duration. For more
information, see About Reports on page 262.
Export DB Displays options to export performance and utilization data
into .csv files, schedule export activity. For more information,
see About Export Database on page 280.
General
Event Log Displays events that are generated in response to various
activities that you perform in the PA application. For more
information, see About Event Log on page 143.
Purge / Archive Provides options to automatically or manually purge the data
from the PA database. For more information, see About Purge
on page 147, About Archive on page 150.
Alarm History Displays the history of alarms for components, if the alarms are
already configured and enabled on them. For more information,
see About Alarm History.
Templates Enables you to save various components and metrics that you
frequently monitor as template charts. For more information, see
