1. Switch off the instrument by pressing and holding the ON/OFF key.
2. Remove the cables from the input leads.
3. Loosen the battery compartment cover fastening screw and remove the cover.
4. Remove all the batteries from the battery compartment and replace them only with new
batteries of the same type only (see § 10.5) making sure to respect the indicated polarities.
5. Restore the battery compartment cover into place and fasten it by means of the relevant screw.
6. Do not scatter old batteries into the environment. Use the relevant containers for disposal.
9.3. CLEANING THE INSTRUMENT
Use a soft and dry cloth to clean the instrument. Never use wet cloths, solvents, water, etc.
9.4. END OF LIFE
CAUTION: this symbol indicates that the appliance, its accessories and the internal
batteries must be collected separately and correctly disposed of.
