This section describes the attributes and specifications of BIDI optical modules.
BIDI optical modules can only be used on FE and GE interfaces. The wavelength of these BIDI
optical modules can be 850 nm, 1310 nm, or 1550 nm. The transmission distance ranges from
10 km (6.21 mi.) to 80 km (49.71 mi.).
