The wet film humidifier
is faulty.

The wet film
humidifier leaks or
water fails to come
into it.

The wet film
humidifier has
exceeded the
maximum operating
time.
Replace the wet film humidifier by following
instructions in 5.3.1.5 Replacing a Wet Film
Humidifier.
Water supply fails.
Check and maintain the water supply source
and pipe.
Water
overflo
ws.
The drainpipe does not
connect to the pump, or
the lift of the pump does
not match the height of
the pipes.
Ensure that the drainpipe correctly connects
to the pump, and ensure that the lift of the
drainpipe is lower than 4 meters.
The condensate water
pump is faulty.
Replace the condensate water pump by
following instructions in 5.3.1.3 Replacing a
Condensate Pump.
Cable connection
between the liquid level
detector and the
humidifier float is
improper or the device is
faulty.
Check the alarm. Check cable connections
for high and low liquid level detectors.
Check whether the liquid level detectors are
damaged. If necessary, replace the liquid
level detectors by referring to 5.3.1.7
Replacing a Liquid Level Detector.
The water inlet pipe or
drainpipe leaks.
Check the water inlet pipe and drainpipe and
their connectors, and repair or replace them
based on site requirements.
Humidit
y is high
or there
is
condens
ation in
the
equipme
nt room.
For a single air
conditioner, the server
heat load is lower than
2.5 kW.

Verify that the doors, windows, floors,
and ceilings of the equipment room are
properly sealed.

If the outdoor humidity is too high, shut
down the fresh air system.

Open the aisle doors or control skylights
of the data center, or open the filler panels
of some server cabinets.
Use the cold aisle containment to control the
humidity.
Add extra dehumidifiers.
