Do not remove or insert cables and eld replaceable units (FRUs) during a
system startup. Otherwise, data loss may occur.
After you switch o the power supply, wait at least one minute before
switching it back on.
To avoid disk damage and data loss, do not switch the power supply o while
any disk running indicators are still blinking.
Troubleshooting
Do not touch the connectors of power cables or communication cables.
Otherwise, an electric shock may occur.
Do not touch devices with bare hands in electrostatic sensitive areas. Wear an
ESD wrist strap, ESD gloves, or ESD clothing to prevent personal injury and
equipment damage.
When you perform troubleshooting, follow these precautions:
Do not perform troubleshooting during a thunderstorm.
Ensure that power cables are intact and the grounding measures are safe and
eective.
Keep the troubleshooting area clean and dry.
2.8 Safety Precautions for Condensation Prevention
Before installing the equipment, ensure that no condensation is on the equipment.
Otherwise, the equipment may fail to be powered on.
If the indoor and outdoor temperature
dierence is 15°C or more, wait eight hours
after moving devices to the equipment room and before installing them.
If the temperature dierence cannot be determined, wait one night after moving devices to
the equipment room and then install them.
