N OTE: I f y ou have a previous version of the Sur eTrend soft w are on
your PC, it is recom m ended that you m ak e a backup of your data.
SureTrend software install will try to locat e t he prev ious version of
SureTrend and perform an upgrade. I f you have an old version of
SureTrend or dat aSURE a new installation will be creat ed.
The soft w are is installed ont o your com puter by inserting the
SureTrend CD that com es wit h the lum inom et er int o your CD drive
and following t he inst allat ion script screen prom pt s. I f t he inst all script
does not aut om at ically start , the “ Auto Run” featur e on your com puter
has been disabled. Open My Co m p u t er , right- click on t he CD dr ive
and select A u t oPl a y . If t his does not start t he install program open
the CD folder and run the Set u p applicat ion.
N OTE: You m ust have appropriat e priv ileges to install soft ware on
your com puter. If you do not have sufficient perm issions the soft w are
will not install.

The user m anual for SureTrend Data Analysis is delivered in soft copy
only. The user m anual can be found on the SureTr end soft ware CD.
The soft copies are in PDF and XPS form ats. I n order to view or pr int
these docum ents you w ill need t o install Adobe Acrobat Reader or
