I n t r o d u ct io n
The lum inom eter is part of an ATP Hygiene/ Sanit at ion Monit oring
Syst em int ended to detect ATP found in organic m at t er and
m icr oorganism s. The Hygiena lum inom eter , in conj unction with
Hy giena’s ATP and Micro- snap t est devices, m easures lev els of
cont am inat ion on surfaces, water and product sam ples.
1.
Rem ove swab from test tube and collect sam ple. Refer to
instructions included wit h testing device.
2.
Place swab back in t est tube.
3.
Break Snap Valve at t op of swab by bending bulb. Squeeze
bulb tw ice, pushing liquid r eagent down swab shaft .
4.
Shake t est for 5 seconds.
5.
Place t est in t he lum inom et er and close lid.
6.
Hold t he lum inom et er upright and press “ OK” . Reading will
appear in 15 seconds.
