The unit r equires t wo batter ies of size AA, LR6 or E91.
TI P: For best result s, alw ays use a quality brand of Alkaline battery
and replace as soon as the bat t eries becom e low (see sect ion 2.5) .
W ARN I N G: Do not m ix bat t eries of different t echnologies, or use
recharged alk aline batteries as these are prone to overcharging and
leaking, which m ay cause perm anent unit dam age and m alfunct ion.
The bat t eries are fitted by unclipping the bat t ery cover on the back of
the unit , and insert ing bot h batteries with their positive t erm inals
pointing t owards the top of t he unit .
CAUTI ON : Take care not to insert t he bat t eries in t he wrong
dir ection, as this m ay cause perm anent dam age to t he unit s int er nal
elect r onics.
