Install the terminators by performing the following:
a. The terminator that was removed from the system unit in step 5 is not used.
Store the terminator in a safe place.
b.
Install the terminator that was shipped with the feature into the available SCSI
connector
on
the back of the tape unit.
Go to step 8 of this procedure.
7 You are installing an IBM 3450 Model
001
or an IBM 7207 Model 012.
Install the terminator (that was removed in step 5 of this procedure) to the terminator connector at
the tape unit end of the SCSI cable. See Figure
5-1
on
page 5-
