Figure 7-72 on page 438 shows, in the left pane, all the adapters and all ports, as well as all
current connected targets with their available LUNs. Upon selecting a HBA, port, or target, the
right pane will show the corresponding properties for that object. The bottom pane displays a
change history of the configuration done by the user. By going through the menu items, you
can perform various actions on the adapter and ports and retrieve much information from the
targets.
With HCM, you can:
Perform HBA firmware update (also known as Boot Code Image) (Figure 7-73)
Perform data collection (Support Save) and HBA settings backup (Figure 7-74)
Configure HBA/port settings, persistent binding, and diagnostics (Figure 7-75 on
page 440)
