Enter memory channel names
Enter memory channel names via the keypad or [DIAL].
•When you enter channel names with [DIAL] or a character as-
signed to the same key, push [ENT] before you enter the next
character to change the digit (see page 72 for alphanumeric key
assignments).
Refer to memory edit for entering alphanumeric characters.
■ Memory search function
The memory search function searches memory channels
using channel names. This is useful for recalling memory
channels when you forget their channel number.
Enter memory search mode
q Push [V/M] to select MEMORY mode (p. 23).
w While pushing [FUNC], push [
(EASY)SEARCH].
