Formatting the SD memory card
Operation procedure
1. Click Tools button on the toolbar.
2. Select Format SD Memory Card.
A warning message is displayed. To execute the format, click Yes, and then the format will be executed.
Notes:
• The volume label given to the SD memory card when formatted is fixed as "IDEC_FT1A."
• Formatting the SD memory card on the SmartAXIS is equivalent to formatting it with the quick format option in Windows.
File Structure
The save destination for log data varies depending on the instruction/FB. For the DLOG (data log) instruction/FB, the files are
saved under the DATALOG folder. For the TRACE (data trace) instruction/FB, the files are saved under the TRACE folder. The name
of folder storing files is specified in the DLOG and the TRACE instructions/FB.

Folder name
The folder name is specified by S1 of the DLOG instruction/FB. Any name with
a maximum of eight single-byte alphanumeric characters can be specified.
File name
When the DLOG instruction/FB is executed, a CSV file is created with the date
(YYYYMMDD) as the file name.
(Example: 20111202.csv)
Folder name
The folder name is specified by S1 of the TRACE instruction/FB. Any name with
a maximum of eight single-byte alphanumeric characters can be specified.
File name
When the TRACE instruction/FB is executed, a CSV file is created with the date
(YYYYMMDD) as the file name.
(Example: 20111212.csv)
