9: M AINTENANCE C OMMUNICATION
Maintenance Communication via Expansion Communication Port
Applicable SmartAXIS
By installing an RS232C or RS485 communication cartridge to a expansion communication port on the SmartAXIS, it is possible to
connect SmartAXIS to a computer or an operator interface with an RS232C or RS485 port, and monitor and change device values
of SmartAXIS.
For details on communication cables, see "Cables" on page A-8.

Programming WindLDR
Configure the settings for maintenance communication.
Setting Procedure
1. From the WindLDR menu bar, select Configuration > Comm. Ports.
The Function Area Settings dialog box appears.
