Notes:
• For the SmartAXIS Pro, its backlight will flash while the system software is downloading. For the SmartAXIS Lite, its error status LED will
flash.
• After the system software has downloaded, the SmartAXIS will be in the STOP state. Start the SmartAXIS with WindLDR or the SmartAXIS
Pro LCD/operation switches.
• The user program stored in the SmartAXIS before downloading the system software remains and is executed when the SmartAXIS is
restarted. A user program execution error may occur if an older system software is downloaded to the SmartAXIS.
• If the system software download fails, the backlight on the SmartAXIS Pro will remain flashing or the error status LED on the SmartAXIS Lite
will remain flashing. In this situation, turn on the SmartAXIS power again and redo the download from step 1. If the SmartAXIS Pro backlight
is still flashing or the SmartAXIS Lite error status LED is still flashing even after turning on the power again, the communication error dialog
box is displayed before step 4.
1. A communication error dialog box is displayed. Click Cancel.
2. A dialog box prompting you to check the status of the SmartAXIS is displayed. Click Yes.
