IDS X64 User Manual 700-398-01D Issued August 2010
Hold down the [MODE] key until the beep,
then enter [1] [*] [PARTITION NUMBER] [*]
To change the partition you are currently viewing, the keypad must be a global keypad.
1. Ensure that the Panel is disarmed
2. Hold the [MODE] key until the keypad beeps.
3. Press the [1] [*] keys, followed by the [PARTITION NUMBER] [*].
If no key is pressed on the keypad for the specified delay period (default is 20 seconds), the keypad will
beep and default back to its original partition. The keypads may be programmed to remain in the new
partition. (Ask your installer about this option). Entering partition numbers greater than 8 will produce a
key entry error.
Also, if you changed a partition with the mode key into a partition that was armed and the keypad is not
set to timeout back into the original partition, hold the [MODE] key to return to the original partition.
NOTE:
If you have set the keypad not to return to its original partition, you can use the [MODE] key to change
partitions even if that partition is armed. Other mode options do not work whilst armed.
Output Control via a Keypad
If the panel has been set up to control switching functions via its outputs, these can be controlled via the
keypad - e.g. turning lights on and off.
Hold down the [MODE] key until the beep and press the [3] key followed by the [*] key.
(Any outputs that are currently set ON will be shown as an on zone LED).
To toggle the output status, enter [OUTPUT NUMBER] followed by the [*] key. Press the [#] key to
exit User Program Mode. (This is limited to outputs 1-5 onboard).
Ensure that you have checked with your installer, which outputs are used for radio reporting to
prevent the triggering of false alarms.
Maintenance Code - Advanced
The maintenance code can be used by a user (without requiring help from an installer) to access and
program a limited number of installer locations. This may be desired by a high-level user who requires
low-level access to certain limited installer locations within the Alarm Panel.
The default maintenance code is 8888, or 888888 for a 6-digit code. Contact your installer to change this
if you so desire.
This code is used to maintain the following locations:
