Overview
Introducing your Implen OD600
®
, a small and mobile device designed for ease of use in various laboratory settings.
Tailored for measuring growth rates of all types of cell, such as E. coli and yeast, this compact instrument offers
unparalleled versatility and precision.
Featuring a glove-compatible touchscreen display, it offers direct access to pre-programmed OD600 and McFarland
applications.
The Implen OD600
®
accommodates a range of sample containers without the need for adapters, including DiluCells,
cuvettes, and test/falcon tubes.
With an integrated battery lasting up to 8 hours, uninterrupted operation is ensured. Data export is simple via USB in .csv
and .xls formats, and advanced connectivity options like LAN/Ethernet and Wi-Fi for seamless LIMS integration and
automatic time adaptation.
The system offers lifetime accuracy and precision without the need for maintenance or recalibration.
Compatible sample container types
Please note that the light beam is directed from the front of the instrument to the back (as indicated by the arrows on the
device); therefore please ensure the cell is inserted in the correct alignment.
Note: The optical height of the device is 8.5 mm.
