RTE report
When selected, a report is sent to management software when the RTE function
is used.
This is only a reporting function.
Readers tab
Each door can have up to six door readers associated with it in any combination
of IN and OUT readers.
Readers can be assigned to doors on the Readers tab of the Doors form.
Note: If the reader is attached to one of the CDC4 local buses, then the
appropriate RAS must be assigned to CDC4 on the Assigned RAS tab of CDC4,
and polled. See the “Assigned RASs tab” section on page 88.
The Readers tab shows a list of assigned readers for the door.
Click the Browse “...” button to open the Reader configuration dialog to edit the
settings of the selected reader in the RAS list.
Click the Remove button to remove the selected reader data.
Reader name
Enter the reader name.
Reader enabled
Set to On to enable the reader.
Door side
Select the door side, which may be one of the following:
• Out (IN reader): IN reader placed on the outside of the door.
• In (OUT reader): OUT reader placed on the inside of the door.
Card format
Select the card format for the reader from the following options:
• Automatic / Not available: The CDC4 will automatically determine the card
format from the card used.
• ATS 27 bit: For range of ATS proximity readers supplied by UTC Fire &
Security.
• ASP 27 bit: For Indala ASP range of proximity readers using 27-bit Wiegand
format.
• ASP 26 bit: For Indala ASP range of proximity readers using 26-bit Wiegand
format.
• Wiegand 32 bit: For 32-bit Wiegand format readers. Uses a 16-bit card
number and 16-bit site code.
