Assigned DGPs tab
Expanders attached to one of the door controller local buses must be assigned to
CDC4 on the Assigned DGP tab of the Expander form.
Select the appropriate expander and click Browse “...” to open the Assigned DGP
form.
The following settings are available.
DGP name
When a DGP is created, it is given the default name “DGP <n>”, where <n> is
the expander number. Enter this menu to edit the current name.
DGP type
Select the type of expander:
• ATS1201/ATS1201E 8 to 32 Zone DGP
• ATS1210/ATS1211/ATS1210E/ATS1211E 8-Zone DGP
• CDC-2DWIF: Dual Wiegand Interface
Poll
Set the option to On to poll the device.
Remove
Click Remove to delete the selected device.
Communication paths tab
Configure an IP communications path on the CDC4 for management software.
Follow these steps:
1. On the expander list, select the CDC4 and select Comm paths tab to open
the Comm paths form.
2. Select the required path and Click Browse “...” to configure it. In the Common
Data Path tab, set Enabled to On. In the IP path tab, set IP protocol to
TCP/IP, Client to Server, Dynamic computer address to On, and Listening
and Host ports to 3001.
Other options are for future use.
The configured communications path can be used by the management software.
If required, set up additional communications paths by repeating the steps in this
section with a different communications path.
Macro logic tab
Up to 48 macros can be defined for the door controller. See “Macro logic” on
page 58 for details.
