Expander
The Door Controller is programmed via the Expander devices form.
The following tabs can appear on the Expander devices form when a CDC4
record is selected:
• Expander: Shows standard Advisor Advanced remote expander information.
See Advisor Advanced ATSx500A(-IP) Installation and Programming Manual
for details.
• Details: Allows you to program general controller options. See “Details tab”
below.
• Mapped Inputs: Allow you to program input mapping on CDC4. See “Input
type” on page 86.
• Mapped Outputs: Allow you to program output mapping on CDC4. See
“Output type” on page 87.
• Assigned RASs: Allows you to assign remote keypads on CDC4 or one of its
buses to CDC4. Keypads must be assigned to CDC4 before they can be
used. See the “Assigned RASs tab” section on page 88.
• Assigned DGPs: Allows you to assign expanders on CDC4 or one of its buses
to CDC4. Expanders must be assigned to CDC4 before they can be used.

• Comm Paths: Allows you to assign communication paths to CDC4. See
“Communication paths tab” on page 89.
• Macro Logic: Allows you to define macros. See “Macro logic tab” on page 89.
• Scheduled Actions tab: Allows you to define door schedules. See “Scheduled
actions tab” on page 91.
• Region/HSU configuration tab: Allows you to configure high security user
configuration. See “Region/HSU Configuration tab” on page 92.
• Alarm Control Level tab. See “Alarm control level tab” on page 95.
Expander tab
The Expander tab is common for all expander types.

Note: Particular door controller settings are disabled in this tab, and can be set
only in “Details tab” below.
