Point-to-point Connection
In a point to point connection, only one terminal device can be connected to netMod via
the S-bus, at a maximum length of 1000m using a cable of 0.6mm diameter.

The switches SW1 and SW3 (see Figure 5) must be in position “ON”.
The termination of the passive bus (S bus) for all the
connections mentioned above is achieved by terminating the
transmit (Tx) and the receive (Rx) pairs with a 100 ohm resistor
each, as shown in the figure below. It must be mentioned that
some ISDN devices include already the 100 ohm resistors. In this
case, the S-bus is terminated by connecting this device at the
end of the S-bus.
