• Give the wheel a strong spin by hand. Listen
carefully to determine whether the brake is
making grinding noises.
• If the brake is grinding, rotate the adjustment
screw (1) of the Bowden cable bit by bit, until
the grinding sounds go away.
• Secure the adjustment screw by tightening
the counter nut (2), using an open-end
spanner 8 mm.
• Perform a function test of the hand brake! The powerchair must remain immobile on a slant
of 12.4% (7°) when hand brake is activated!
• Perform a test drive.
