• Remove the blue battery cable insulation shoe (2) on
the negative terminal.
• Loosen battery clamp and remove cable.
• Remove the red battery cable insulation shoe (3) on
the positive terminal.
• Loosen battery clamp and remove cable.
• Open the battery fixing strap.
• Remove both batteries from the wheelchair frame
using the carrying straps.
7.13.3 Connecting the New Batteries
• Place the batteries in the wheelchair frames with the
battery terminals facing one another.
• Connect the cables to the batteries in the reverse
order to that detailed in section "
Removing the
batteries
" on page 81.
• Thread the fixing strap in as shown in the photo.
• Secure the batteries by tightening the fixing straps.
