4.2.2 Rom Flash
4.2.2.1 Update under DOS prompt:
1. Copy AFUDOS.EXE, FB.BAT, FBB.BAT and RomFileName.rom (ROM image) to
bootable storage.
2. Plug the bootable storage (ex :USB disk) and boot to dos prompt (no Himem)
3. Run FB.BAT or FBB.BAT (depend on if Boot Block is needed to be update)
FB.BAT: Update bios without boot block.
FBB.BAT: Update bios with boot block.
4. Shutdown and Re-start system
4.2.2.2 Recovery Mode
A BIOS recovery can be accomplished from one of the following devices: an USB
Disk-On-Key/CD-ROM, an ATAPI CD-ROM/DVD. The recovery media must include the BIOS
image file, B800GXXXX.ROM in the root directory.
Enter recovery mode:
Insert the recovery jumper (J22-E)
The recovery mode procedure:
1. Insert or plug-in the recovery media with the B800GXXXX.ROM file.
2. Power on system and wait for system boot BIOS setup menu.
3. Choose option [Proceed with flash updates]..
