9.5 Operating the Controller
Unless the heater is connected to a remote controller,
all operations are set up and programmed through the
control panel on the top of the heater. See Figure 23.
NOTE: The display light reverts to OFF after two minutes of inactiv-
ity since the last key was pressed.

9.5.1 Setting up Heater Options
Before using the heater for the rst time, set up the
following options:
• Languages: Set a display language
• Temperature Scale: Set temperatures to be displayed
in either Celsius or Fahrenheit scale
• Display Light Timeout: Set the display light to turn
off after a specic interval of inactivity
