Embroidery Lace Designs
You can attach the lace pieces in the “Designs for water
soluble stabilizer” category to a background fabric with
the lace designs in the “Designs for fabric” category to
achieve a three-dimensional appearance.
Example: Buttery design (FA10a-1)
z Attach the water soluble stabilizer to the hoop.
Be sure that the stabilizer is stretched tightly in the
hoop. Select “Designs for water soluble stabilizer”.
Press the page key. Select the design FA10a-1 and
sew.
Remove the water soluble stabilizer from the hoop.
Trim away the water soluble stabilizer surrounding the
design pattern with scissors.
Remove the water stabilizer by soaking the buttery
wing design into a bowl of warm water.
x Attach the background fabric to the carriage.
Select “Designs for fabric”.
Press the page key. Select the design FA10a-1 and
sew the rst and second sections (color).

c The second section is the placement guide for placing
buttery wings.

v Place the buttery wings piece which was created in
procedure z above so that the buttery wings are
aligned with the placement guide.
Use tape to hold the design for your convenience.

NOTE:
Be sure that the lace piece to be attached is
completely dried out after removing from water.
