8.17 Setback Setting
8.17.1 Setback Schedule Setting
• This function is used to start/stop Setback mode
at desired time.
• This function is available only when Setback
mode is set as Schedule mode.
To change the setback mode, select another
mode at the function selection setting.
Contact your distributor for detailed information.
• The items cannot be set/modifi ed if indoor unit
does not support this function.
(1) Select “Setback Setting” from the “Menu”
screen and press “OK”.
The “Setback Setting” is displayed.
NOTE:
If the present time has not been set yet.
“Set Date/Time” is automatically displayed.
Refer to Section 8.15 “Adjusting Date/Time”.
“Adjusting Date/Time” is automatically shown
if the clock has not been set.
(2) Press “
” or “ ” to select the setting data.
“ON Time” and “OFF Time” are selected in
turn.

(4) Press “OK ” to fi nish the “Setback Setting”.
The confi rmation screen is displayed.
Press “Back/Help” to return to operation
setting screen.
(5) Select “Yes” by pressing “ ” or “ ” and
press “OK”.
The setting is confi rmed and the screen
returns to normal mode.

In the following instances, the schedule
operation is NOT available;
• When the operation is prohibited by the
controller and is set from the central controller.
• If the icon “
” is displayed, the schedule
control is NOT activated due to the Date/Time
setting being not specifi ed yet. To specify
the Date/Time setting, refer to Section 8.15
“Adjusting Date/Time” for details.
(3) Press
“ ” or “ ” to select setting contents.
The time goes 30 minutes ahead or behind.
Long press
“ ” or “ ” to seamlessly
increase/decrease number.
Press “OK” to fi nish setting.
The confi rmation screen is displayed.
NOTE:
Do not set the same time for ON Time and OFF
Time.
Unavailable if ON time or OFF time is not set.
