Connecting the Drain Hose
The Exhaust Air Heat Pump absorbs heat from the extracted indoor air. The moisture in the air condenses
on the cold evaporator. The condensation water must be drained from the unit to allow the unit to function
normally. That is why the Heat Pump must be connected to a drain pipe.
To connect the Modul-AIR to the drainpipe:
1. Press the corrugated condensation drain
hose over the rubber sleeve.
2. Connect the drain hose end to the drain
line through a siphon.
3. Make sure the drain hose is above the
water level of the siphon.
