Installation Checklist
General
Have the correct number and location of extract fans/terminals been installed?
Is the installation complete with no obvious defects present?
Has all protection/packaging been removed such that the system is fully functional?
Is the ductwork fitted to the correct connections on the exhaust air heat pump?
Has all the exhaust ductwork been insulated?
Is flow and return pipework connected correctly?
Has the correct size power cable been used for exhaust air heat pump?
See Page 52 for cable requirements
Is primary flow + return insulated?
Has an electrical isolation switch been installed?
Has the correct size electrical circuit breaker been installed?
Is heating expansion vessel correctly sized, secured and charged to the right
pressure?
For ducted systems, has ductwork been installed in such a manner that air
resistance and leakage is kept to a minimum?
Has the exhaust air heat pump and all its ductwork been effectively insulated
where installed in unheated spaces?
Has system been completely flushed of air + charged to the correct pressure
(1.5 BAR) ?
