Networks products. Follow the guidelines provided in the guide to reduce the likelihood of personal
injury, equipment damage, and damage to surrounding areas.
Along with the informaon provided in the Juniper Networks Safety Guide, you must read and
understand the ACX7348 specic safety informaon provided in this hardware guide.
Compliance Statements for NEBS
• The equipment is suitable for installaon as part of the Common Bonding Network (CBN).
• The equipment is suitable for installaon in locaons where the Naonal Electrical Code (NEC)
applies.
• The baery return connecon is to be treated as an isolated DC return (that is, DC-I), as dened in
GR-1089-CORE.
• You must provision a readily accessible device outside of the equipment to disconnect power. The
device must also be rated based on local electrical code pracce.
