ACX7348 Field-Replaceable Units
Field-replaceable units (FRUs) are router components you can replace at the customer site. Replacing
most FRUs requires minimal router downme. The ACX7348 router uses the following types of FRUs:
• Hot-insertable and hot-removable—You can remove and replace these components without powering
o the router or disrupng the roung funcon.
• Hot-pluggable—You can remove and replace these components without powering o the router, but
the roung funcon is interrupted unl you replace the component.
