ACX7348 Router Component Redundancy
The following hardware components provide redundancy on ACX7348 routers:
• Roung Engines—A redundant system on an ACX7348 consists of two Roung Engines that are
available as eld-replaceable units (FRUs). One Roung Engine funcons as the primary and the
other funcons as the backup.
• Power supply modules (PSMs)—You can install up to two PSMs on ACX7348 routers to provide full
power, 1+1 redundancy to the device. Each PSM provides power to all components in the router. If
one PSM fails, or if you remove one PSM, the second PSM balances the electrical load without
interrupon.
