Connecting the SRX3600 Services Gateway to a Network for Out-of-Band
Management
To connect the Routing Engine to a network for out-of-band management:
1. Plug one end of an Ethernet cable with RJ-45 connectors (Figure 59 on page 143 shows the connector)
into the RE ETHERNET 0 port on the front of the SFB.

One Ethernet cable is provided with the services gateway.
2. Plug the other end of the cable into the network device.
