Operating instructions
• Theemergencybatteryissuppliedinchargedcondition.
• Ifitisregularlyused,itslifetimeisapproximately5years.
• Theemergencybatterycanberechargedapproximately1‘200times(dependingonthe
respective depth of the discharge).
• Ifanindividualbatteryneedstobereplaced,itisimportanttocheckpreviouslyifthe
new battery has a minimum voltage of 12,4 VDC (not under load). Should this require-
mentnotbefullled,itmustberechargedbeforebeingused.
Attention:
Batteries of different brands (manufacturers) must never be used together!
Recharging
1. Disconnect the connection cable from the batteries.
2. Rechargethebatteriesindividuallyduringapproximately12hours:

3. Reconnect the connection cable and mark the charging date.
• Neverstoretheemergencybatteryindischargedcondition(rechargeitassoonaspos-
sible).
• Beforestoringtheemergencydisconnectalltheconsumers.
• Neverexposeittoaheatsource.
• Neverexposeittodirectinsolation.
• Storethebatteryinverticalposition,onahorizontalbase.
• Checkthevoltageatregularintervals.
• Usenothingbutadryragforcleaningthebattery.
Attention:
If the storage temperatures are below freezing point, the battery must be
handled with great care, as the synthetic material of the battery housing
hardens and thus more sensitive to damaging.

• Ambienttemperaturebetween-35°Cand+50°C.
• Thestoragetemperaturehasaninuenceonthespontaneousdischargeoftheemer-
gency battery:
