Fault Cause Remedy
No status display.
ERGOcom 3 switched to standby.
▶ Leave Standby mode.

ERGOcom 3 off.
▶
ERGOcom 3 on.
Mains fuse burnt out. ▶ Test mains fuse and replace
where necessary.
ERGOcom 3 switches itself off and
cannot be switched back on imme-
diately.
Overheating. ▶ Ensure good ventilation for the
ERGOcom 3 .

Everything has stopped working. Mains failure / overvoltage. ▶
ERGOcom 3 to be switched off
and then switched on again after
5 seconds.
Access to USB hardware does not
work under Windows XP.
The Microsoft patch needed to ope-
rate the USB port is not installed on
the target computer.
▶ Install the required patch.
This can be done while installing
the CCCDIS.

Selected image source (e.g. DVD
player) is not displayed.
The DVD player is switched off, or
no DVD has been inserted.
▶ Check image source.
No camera image is displayed. Treatment unit switched off. ▶ Switch on treatment unit.
Poor video quality. Poor image material. ▶ Only use image material that is of
good quality.
Poor PC image source quality. Display setting for graphics card not
the same as the display format set-
ting on the ERGOcom 3 .
▶ Adjust display format and gra-
phics card setting.

Poor image quality. Incorrect settings in the OSD menu
display interface.
▶ Improve the image quality using
