You can control the beeper from either the front panel or the remote interface.
To control the beeper from the front panel:
1. Press the MENU key then use the PREV and NEXT keys to select the SYSTEM
submenu, and press ENTER.
2. Use the PREV and NEXT keys to select the BEEP submenu, and press ENTER.
3. Use the PREV and NEXT keys to select ON or OFF and press ENTER
(refer to Figure 4-27).

To control the beeper from a remote interface:
Use the following commands to disable or enable the beeper from a remote interface:

Reading memory (store and recall)
Definition
The Model 2100 Digital Multimeter has a memory capacity of 2000 readings. The readings are
stored in first-in-first-out order in volatile memory, which means the stored readings will be cleared
when the multimeter is turned-off. The reading memory feature can be used for all measurement
functions, math operations, trigger operations, and reading hold.
Using the reading memory
You can store readings and access those readings through either the front panel or a remote
interface.
NOTE Readings stored from the Model 2100 to a remote interface will be stored in first-in- first-
out order.
To store readings from the front panel:
NOTE When using the reading memory feature, you first need to select a measurement or math
function, then select the trigger mode.
1. Press the STORE key. The multimeter will start to store the readings produced until the
specified number of readings is reached. The default number of readings to store is 100.
2. To change number of readings to store, press the CONFIG and then STORE keys.
