2.9 Installing and changing wire
Install the welding gun to the wire feeder before installing the wire spool.
When changing the wire spool, remove the remaining filler wire from the welding gun and wire feed mechanism before
removing the wire spool.
Always ensure that the feed rolls are suitable for the filler wire (diameter and material) in question. Refer also to
"Installing and replacing feed rolls" on page47.
To remove the wire spool:
1. Open the wire feeder top cover.
2. Push the wire spool locking cover to the rear.
3. Remove the wire spool from the wire feeder.
