Using Avionics VOR/ILS Softkeys for N5171B/72B and N5181B/82B with Option 302
Using ILS Marker Beacon Softkeys
To set the ILS Marker Beacon AM depth
1. Press Aux Fctn > Avionics > Marker Beacon
2. Press Marker Depth
(Default <value> is 95%.)
3. Select a <value> from 0 to 99.9% and press Enter.
These softkeys set the AM depth on the Marker Beacon carrier.
To set the ILS Marker Beacon inner marker frequency
1. Press Aux Fctn > Avionics > Marker Beacon
2. Press Marker Beacon
3. Press Inner
4. Press Marker Freq
(Default <value> is 3000 Hz.)
5. Select a <value> in Hz | kHz | MHz | GHz from 0 Hz to 10 MHz.
These softkeys set the frequency for the Inner Marker Beacon.
To set the ILS Marker Beacon middle marker frequency
1. Press Aux Fctn > Avionics > Marker Beacon
2. Press Marker Beacon
3. Press Middle
4. Press Marker Freq
(Default <value> is 1300 Hz.)
5. Select a <value> in Hz | kHz | MHz | GHz from 0 Hz to 10 MHz.
These softkeys set the frequency for the Middle Marker Beacon.
