Keysight 53210A User’s Guide 153
Following a reset (
*RST) or instrument preset (SYSTem:PRESet), a reference value
of 0.0 is set and automatic reference is enabled.
From the front panel, pressing Get New Reference takes a reference
measurement on the first trigger received after the key is pressed. A reference can
be entered manually by selecting Ref Value and using the knob or SHIFTed
numeric keys.
Reference Example
//determine the percentage difference of 100 frequency
//measurements to a reference value of 50000.000
CONF:FREQ 50E3,(@1)
SAMP:COUN 100 // take 100 readings
CALC:STAT ON // enable CALCulate1 subsystem
CALC:SCAL:STAT ON // enable scaling
CALC:SCAL:FUNC PCT // select scale function (PCT)
CALC:SCAL:REF 50.000E3 // set reference value
INIT
Scale Gain and Offset
The function CALCulate[1]:SCALe:FUNCtion SCALe performs an Mx-B operation
on each reading where M is the gain value, x is the reading, and B is the offset.
The gain value used in the equation is set with the command:
CALCulate[1]:SCALe:GAIN {<gain>|MINimum|MAXimum|DEFault}
CALCulate[1]:SCALe:GAIN? [{MINimum|MAXimum|DEFault}] (query form)
gain
values can range from:
-1.0E+15 to -1.0E-15, 0.0, +1.0E-15 to +1.0E+15
The default gain is 1.0 and is the value set following a reset (*RST) or instrument
preset (
SYSTem:PRESet).
