Items Available Settings Description
3 Logging (Lg) Duration Configures the duration of the data log in hours, minutes, and seconds. The maximum
duration is 30,000 hours. The logging information applies to data logger measurements on
all outputs.
Sample Period Configures the interval between data samples in milliseconds, which can be set from 200
milliseconds to 60 seconds.
Trigger Source Configures the trigger source for data logger.
Trigger Pos Trigger Position specifies a trigger offset. This allows the specified time of pretrigger data
to be logged to the file. For example, if you specified a data log duration of 30 s and a trig-
ger position of 50%, the Data Logger will log 15 s of pre-trigger data to the file before the
trigger occurs. Subsequently, 15 s of post-trigger data will then be logged to the data file.
Log Min/Max checkbox When enabled, lets you log the minimum and maximum values of each sample to the data
log file. With Log Min/Max checked, the resulting file size will triple.

4 File Selection - Configures the file location and filename for logged data, export the file to .csv format and
load the previously logged file to the instrument.
5 Preset – Returns the Data Logger View to the power-on display settings.
6 Settings Vr, Hr or Lg Selects the Vertical Settings, Horizontal Settings or Logging Settings field.
Action required:
Press Settings to toggle between Vr, Hr and Lg.
7 Trig Src Key, IO or Rmt Configures the trigger source for data logger.
Default is Key.
Action required:
Press Trig Src to toggle between Key, IO and Rmt.
Key (List Run/Stop Key) Selects the Run Stopped key as a trigger
source.
IO (DIO Trigger In) Selects any configured digital IO (with Trigger
Input function) as a trigger source.
Rmt (Remote Command) Selects a remote interface command as a trig-
ger source.
8 Lg MinMax Off or On Sets to enable or disable the Log Min/Max checkbox. Enabling the checkbox will log the
minimum and maximum values to the data log file. With Log Min/Max checked, the
resulting file size will triple.
Default is Off.
Action required:
Press Lg MinMax to toggle between Off and On.
