Starting the E5071C
This section describes how to turn on/off the E5071C power and how to cut off
the power supply in an emergency.
Turning the Power ON and OFF
Perform the following steps to turn the power ON or OFF.
To Check the Removable Hard Disk Drive
Procedure
When the power is turned on, it is required to confirm the notch geometry is
set as follows.

Turning the Power ON
Step 1. Confirm if the Line Switch on the rear panel is on. The switch should always
be turned on.
Step 2. If the standby switch ( ) in the lower-left part of the front panel is in the
depressed ( ) position, press it to put it in the popped up position ( ).
If the notch geometry is not set as follows, the error message “OS not
found” will be shown when you turn on the power.
