To power OFF your LCR meter, press the power-on button again.
Automatic Power-Off (APO)
Your LCR meter automatically turns off after 5 minutes (default) if no keys are
pressed. Pressing any key will turn the LCR meter back on after it is powered off
automatically.
The annunciator is shown on the bottom left of the display when the APO
function is enabled.
Enabling the backlight
If viewing the display becomes difficult in low-light conditions, press for more
than 1 second to activate the LCD backlight.
To conserve battery life, a user-adjustable time-out controls how long the
backlight stays on. The default time-out is 30 seconds.
NOTE
You can change the power-on behavior of your LCR meter for subsequent power
cycles. See “Changing the initial power-on behavior” on page 70 for more
information on changing the LCR meter’s power-on setting.
NOTE
– To change the time-out period or completely disable the APO function, refer
to “Changing the auto power-off and backlight time-outs” on page 87.
– If an external power adapter is used, the APO function will be disabled.
