• To capitalize on the speed of the

through the feed tube while the processor
is running.
• Different foods require varying degrees
of pressure for best shredding and slicing
results.Ingeneral,uselightpressure
forsoft,delicatefoods(strawberries,
tomatoes,etc.),moderatepressurefor
mediumfoods(zucchini,potatoes,etc.),
andrmerpressureforharderfoods
(carrots,apples,hardcheeses,partially
frozenmeats,etc.).
• Softandmedium-hardcheesemayspread
out or roll up on the shredding disc. To
avoidthis,shredonlywell-chilledcheese.
• Sometimesslenderfoods,suchas
carrotsorcelery,falloverinthefeed
tube,resultinginanunevenslice.To
minimizethis,cutfoodinseveralpieces
and pack the feed tube with the food.
Forprocessingsmallorslenderitems,
the small feed tube in the two piece food
pusher will prove especially convenient.

do not knead recipes which use more than
350g(3cups)ofour.
• Toavoiddamagetothebladeormotor,do
notprocessfoodthatissohardorrmly
frozen that it cannot be pierced with the
tipofasharpknife.Ifapieceofhardfood,
suchasacarrot,becomeswedgedor
stuckontheblade,stoptheprocessorand
remove the blade. Gently remove food
from the blade.
