CHECK AND ADJUST COOLING FAN BELT TENSION
Checking
1. Open the engine hood (1) and remove or Step (2).

Deflection a should be 7-10 mm (0.3-0.4 in) when the belt is
pressed with the thumb with a force of approx. 58.8 N (6 kg) at
a point midway between the alternator pulley and fan pulley.
