MAINTENANCE PROCEDURE
CHANGE OIL IN FINAL DRIVE CASE
WARNING
The oil is at high temperature immediately after the machine has been operated. Wait for the oil to cool down before starting
the operation.
If there is still pressure remaining inside the case, the oil or plug may fly out.
Loosen the plug slowly to release the pressure.
Refill capacity (each): 2.1 liters (0.55 US gal)
Prepare a hexagon wrench.
The diagram on the right shows the left final drive case.
1.
Set plug (F) at the top, with plug (F) and plug (P) perpendicular
to the ground surface.
2. Set a container under plug (P) to catch the oil.
3.
Remove plugs (P), (G) and (F) with hexagonal wench to drain
the oil.
4. Tighten plug (P).
5.
Add the replacement amount of oil through the hole of plug (F).
6.
After the oil flows out of the hole plug (G), install plugs (G) and
(F).
Large-capacity Final Drive
(If equipped for PC138US)
1.
Set so that plug (G) is at the top, with plug (G) and plug (P)
perpendicular to the ground.
2. Set the container to catch oil under plug (P).
3.
Remove plugs (P), (G) and (F) with hexagonal wench to drain
the oil.
4. Tighten plug (P).
5.
Add the replacement amount of oil through the hole of plug (F).
6.
After the oil flows out of the hole plug (G), install plugs (G) and
(F).
